Canberra voters return both sitting labor members of the Legislative Council, one of whom is Liberal MP Michaelia Cash.

Former Labo바카라사이트r MP John Madigan’s resignation after a number of incidents including groping a woman is a major factor in a tight run-off for the Liberals.

Mr Madigan is not likely to run again for party leadership but Mr Turnbull said he did not believe he was ready to give up his MP position to challenge the party leader.

Senator Madigan said he would not walk away from politics – despite the threats.

“I’m ready to go back into politics and I’m not about to be replaced, I’m not about to run to be chief minister of the state of New South Wales or a regional MP,” he said.

“I’m not about to retire from the House of Representatives. The question is going to come to the voters whether or not the next person in line after me is ready.”

Asked by reporters if he be바카라사이트lieved he was in the best place to run the country, he said: “We’ve got more work to do, the country is being바카라사이트 broken.”

The Liberal Party’s “first order of business” will be in the election next week, Mr Turnbull said.

“This is about keeping the nation safe,” he said.

“The Liberal Party’s first order of business is getting back the party that won the election this last time for the purpose of keeping that party the party for the public good.”

The Liberal party will not nominate or seek party membership before the federal election – it wants to put “a lot of thought” into that.

In his speech, Mr Turnbull acknowledged Labor’s decline since he had begun taking office, but said the Greens would not be left behind.

He said it was time for a change in government, and he pledged Labor would support him in it.

“They will not be forgotten,” Mr Turnbull said.

The Turnbull Government has announced an extra $3.5 million in aid to key communities hit by the opioid crisis, which it says is the world’s third largest after South Africa and India.
