Chelsea manning release from prison may be shortlived
The latest news surrounding Ched Evans has caused some fans to wonder whether he will stay at Liverpool for long.
The midfielder has been on Liverpool’s books since 2005 but was originally released by the Merseyside club in 2007.
But Evans, who has been with the Reds since 2010, is now in the middle of his second spell at Anfield.
The 24-year-old was the subject of a transfer bid of around £3.5 million last summer.
He was in charge of the Merseyside club from 2010 and 2011.
Since he joined Merseyside and joined Liverpool, Evans has not featured in the top four of the Premier League because of injury problems.
However, on Saturday, he appeared in the Reds’ 3-1 defeat to Cardiff but was unable to get into a first-team setting and was unable to make an impact.
